It was by complete chance that I decided to pick up the film "The Fountain" by Darren Aronofsky... and maybe that chance was purposeful.

Movies are movies. Just... movies. Realities created outside of our own to remove us from our own.

The Fountain is not just a movie. It is a masterpiece that can hardly be translated into words... or maybe it's just that I can't express it accurately.

I was so deeply moved and eternally changed by this film that even though I am not able to compile the words to describe how beautiful it was, I still find it necessary to share its impression.

This is something that will effect me for the rest of my life. The overwhelming sense of epiphany and awe that this film suggests still resonates with me.

It is a film to be experienced and deeply understood. The visuals and the music in conjunction with the captivating view of spirituality, acceptance and divine understanding of life, death, and life after death left me in such a state of spiritual numbness... I'm so humbled by this film.. and everything that it suggests.

I highly recommend it.. and to watch with not just an open mind, but an empty mind. Give yourself to the film.
